Amorphophallus myosuroides was discovered growing on vertical, shaded rock ledges in the Khammouane Province of Laos. The tiny but rapidly offsetting tuber produces a solitary, light green, radial leaf atop each 8" tall stalk. Within a few weeks of the leaf appearing, an 8" tall white mousetail like (the genus Myosurus means "mousetail") inflorescence
